Anne-Marie Truppo
Lieutenant, Morris County Prosecutors Office
Lieutenant Anne-Marie Truppo was hired as a law enforcement officer by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office in 2005. In 2008, she was transferred to the Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit, where she was tasked with the investigation of allegations of juvenile and adult sexual assault and abuse, as well as child physical abuse, neglect and endangerment. Lt. Truppo has testified in numerous hearings, motions and trials pertaining to her child interviews. Lt. Truppo served as the Field Training Detective, Detective/Supervisor and Sergeant within the SC/CEU, ultimately rising to her current rank of Lieutenant. Lt. Truppo has also worked in the Narcotics/Gambling Unit, the Domestic Violence Unit, the Missing Persons Unit and the General Investigations Unit during her tenure with the MCPO.
Lt. Truppo received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, and has attended graduate classes at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She completed the CornerHouse Child Sexual Abuse Forensic Interview Training in 2009, and attended the When Words Matter Conference in Chicago, Il in 2011. Lt. Truppo serves as an instructor for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office annual Sex Crimes Investigation Course, and has been a member of the Child First/Finding Words NJ faculty since 2013.
