Mr. Christopher Freid served as the Chief Assistant Prosecutor in the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. He had been part of that office since 1999, where he worked closely with and advised the Unit’s investigative team on child physical and sexual abuse cases. Additionally, he prosecuted these cases in court before juries.

Prior to his service in Passaic County, Mr. Freid was an Assistant Prosecutor in the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office where he was assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit.

Mr. Freid is also an adjunct professor at Montclair State University’s Center for Child Advocacy and has held this position since 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York and a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut.
